The label problem

Most product labels are designed to be skimmed, not understood.

Unreadable lists

Chemical names, tiny print, foreign abbreviations. You skim, you trust, you buy.

Hidden irritants

The same ingredient can be called five different things. Harmless to most, trouble for you.

Generic advice

Online guides are one-size-fits-all. Your skin, diet, and goals are not.

How it works

Three steps. About five seconds.

  1. Step 1

    Scan

Point your camera at any ingredient label or barcode.

  2. Step 2

    Analyze

Our AI reads every ingredient and cross-checks your profile.

  3. Step 3

    Know

See a personalized score with the reasoning behind it.

AI-powered

More than a barcode lookup.

dert.ai reads the actual ingredient list, not just a database entry. That means every variant, every reformulation, and every regional label is covered — the moment you scan it.

Personalized

Built for your skin. Or your baby’s.

Tell us once — your skin type, allergies, pregnancy status, even your baby’s age — and dert.ai scores every product against your profile. Not a generic warning. Not a one-size-fits-all tag. Your analysis, for your family.

Routines

Build a routine you’ll actually keep.

dert.ai reminds you when to reapply sunscreen, take your vitamin, or refill your water glass — and tracks the streak for every healthy habit. Reminders link to the products you’ve scanned, so you only see what matters to you.

Expiry tracking

Know before it goes bad.

dert.ai reads the expiry date and PAO (period-after-opening) symbol straight off the label. See “15 days left” at a glance, and get warned before a forgotten retinol, sunscreen, or supplement becomes the thing that hurts you.

    • Oxybenzone

Chemical UV filter linked to endocrine disruption. Banned in Hawaii and several countries for infant products.

Answers

Questions people ask before downloading.

What does dert.ai actually scan?

Ingredient labels and barcodes on cosmetics, packaged food, supplements, baby products, household cleaners, and sunscreens. If it has a label, we can read it.

Is this medical advice?

No. dert.ai is an educational tool. It helps you understand what’s inside a product, but it is not a substitute for professional medical, dermatological, or nutritional advice.

How accurate is the analysis?

Our AI reads the actual label and cross-checks it against public ingredient databases. We cite our sources inside the app, so you can follow the reasoning for every ingredient.

Is my data private?

Your scan history is tied to your account and never sold. You can export or delete everything from Settings at any time.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel anytime — you keep access until the period ends.

Stop trusting labels you can’t read.

Five seconds per scan. A clear, personalized verdict. Walk out of every aisle calm, confident, and done second-guessing what you’re putting on your skin, in your food, or near your baby.
